FAQs

  • Most of our legal services will be conducted on an hourly rate. Some routine legal services, such as residential real estate transactions, have a set fee. Please ask Chuck and he will be happy to explain the fees applicable to your situation.

Some legal services, such as matters involving litigation, may require the payment of a retainer. A retainer is a payment made before any work on your case begins. Retainers certainly do not guarantee any outcome but they will secure experienced legal counsel. Chuck will explain any required retainer.

  • Chuck seeks to meet with clients as soon as possible. Chuck will do all he can to meet with you at an available time that is most convenient for you.

  • While we are located in Woodford County, we will service your legal issues in Woodford, McLean, Livingston, Marshall and LaSalle counties or anywhere your issue takes us. If the issue is outside of Central Illinois, we may find an attorney in the geographical area involved to assist with, if not primarily handle, your case.

  • Conferences can take place at the Feeney Law Office, at your home or office, via Zoom, on the telephone, or at the courthouse. Chuck will meet with you in a manner that best serves you.

  • Parking is available in the front of and along the east side of the law office. As the office is located on U.S. Highway 24, it may be easier to park on the east side of the office.
